My experience with Goings Orthodontics has been nothing but terrific. From the first appointment to the day I got my braces off, the staff was very friendly, professional and so helpful. The initial appointment was to find options to fix my daughter's teeth. Her teeth and bite were very bad and she was not able to close her mouth. After meeting with Kathryn and Dr. Goings, I decided to move foward and not only get braces for my daughter but also for myself, too. As a single mother I worried about a payment plan that would work for me and that I could afford. Kathryn was so helpful and understanding and together we found an option that would work for both of us. What an easy and simple process. It's been such a fun experience sharing it with my daughter. She has 1 more year to go, but I LOVE my new smile. I have referred several people to Goings Orthodontics and will continue to send people their way. Dr. Goings and his office staff are absolutely wonderful! I have two sons that are under their care and I can only tell you positive things about this orthodontist and the interactions he has with my children. Everything has been positive! Dr. Goings and his staff use the latest technology which includes posting poictures of your progress online that you can access from their website. They also have tv's at every patient chair so you can watch movies or tv programs during appointments. I especially enjoyed being able to watch my favorite movie while my braces were being put on. The few times that I had problems with my braces, whether it be a bracket coming off or a wire needing to be clipped, they were always very helpful in fitting me in so the issue could be corrected quickly. I always looked forward to my orthodontic appointments because Dr. Goings and his staff are all so friendly, fun, and caring. . . it felt like I was visiting friends. When I first called Dr. Goings office, my teeth were not in terrible shape. As a matter of fact, I had had braces once before in my life in middle school. I turned 30 in July of 2009 and I was in braces for a second time. The procedures had changed quite a bit since 1991, let me tell you! No more colored rubber bands holding my wires in; I had the Damon System. Instead of 2+ years, it only took me one! My whole experience was amazing and the people at the office actually remember your name and things about you. It's like walking into a friend's house. I would recommend Dr. Goings to anyone! Our experience was very positive throughout our treatment. It began from the time we made the call to schedule the interview with Dr. Goings to see if he was going to be the professional to create our daughter's new smile. It was Jennifer who made the final choice as to who was going to help her achieve her new facial changes. By the feel of the office at the time of interview, she chose to go with Goings Orthodontics. We would like to say that we were very pleased with the outstanding care you and your staff provided for my 13 year old son, Jay. Jay said that "Every visit was great. I really liked going to my appointments. They were all so nice." He never had any problems or pain with his braces. I could not have been happier with my experience at Goings Orthodontics. As an adult patient my primary conerns were the ability to fit the treatments into my hectic life, the amount of time involved with office visits and the associated costs. I wanted to thank you for your fantastic service. As an adult working in sales, I was hesitant at first to make a sacrifice and get braces. I was concerned that braces would be an inconvenience and it would hamper my ability to communicate. While there were some adjustments I had to make, the experience did not hurt my ability to communicate and it actually provided for some interesting conversations about the trend of more adults getting braces.
